Salomi Shah - designer
A graduate of the L.S. Raheja School of Art, Salomi’s eye for commercial art has been fine-focused through a three-year stint at Mumbai-based agency, Crayons Advertising and freelance work for clients such as Tata Consultancy Services. Her edgy aesthetics have made the concept of big data easier to understand. Her graphic concepts for a 3-minute long infographic video looked at big data from a consumers’ perspective and used every day examples to showcase its benefits.
At magenta she has redesigned the logo of a Lagos-based pan-Africa law firm to give its brand the modern look and feel to best reflect its work. She intuitively interpreted the brief, producing a design that everyone in the client organisation can identify with. Her colourful illustrations and icons also brought to life a UK-India Business Council theme paper for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the country.
When not knee deep in office work she is lost in the world of Lord of the Rings and can speak knowledgeably about aliens. A cinephile to the core, the Men in Black series and a pizza are her definition of bliss.
